Researchers will be asked to carry out research for each country they are assigned starting in June 2015 and covering:
- Government readiness and support for open data;
- Evidence on use and impacts of open data;
- The availability of open data across 15 categories;
Researchers should have the ability to produce high quality results following the research handbook and providing strong desk research and web search skills; an understanding of open data; and working knowledge of the countries they are willing to research. Researchers should be proficient in both English and the official language of any country they opt to research. Reliable Internet connectivity is also required to perform the research tasks.
